During the Fall and Winter of 2009/2010 I made numerous timelapse sequences, trying to capture the mood and majesty of Howe Sound in a way individual still images cannot express. Using timelapse instead of video, you can compress hours into minutes. This timelapse is from September 16, 2009 and contains 5540 images, from 6:05 AM to 6:17 PM. The wind is sometimes moving layers of cloud in several directions at once, rain squalls move in and out, and marine vessels come and go.
